Fencing Highlights

Final Score: Victory 9-6

Fencing a fellow teammate is never easy – especially on the final strip. By the end of this bout, I came back from a deficit of 2-4 to ultimately beat Zoe with a score of 9-6.

Final Score: Defeat 10-15

Fencing two-time Olympian Katherine Holmes was intimidating and exhilarating at the same time. Although I lost, I am proud of the resilience I displayed despite being the ultimate underdog. Even though I was down 0-9 in the 2nd period, I continued fighting for a final score of 10-15.

Final Score: Victory 5-4

It was an honor to fence Hadley Husisian, one of the best epeeists of this generation. Hadley went on to win gold, but I was the only person who defeated her in this Division I event.
